Despite the complaints about the “methodology” and the accusations of “democratic failure” in the presentation of the proposal for measures to combat the effects of inflation in Lisbon, the opposition to Carlos Moedas is satisfied. The final proposal approved this Thursday includes several proposals presented by the councilors at the preparatory meeting and proposals that have been presented in recent weeks and, in the end, “Lisboetas are the ones that matter.” Even so, the fact that the PS was aligned with the councilors elected by the Novos Tempos coalition did not go unnoticed.

“Coins will continue to complain about crashes, we know they do, but in this case there is no reason to. The PS made possible the proposals that Carlos Moedas wanted to see carried out and made unfeasible those that did not please the president”, comments one of the councilors without responsibility in the municipality with the Observer, while João Ferreira, from the PCP, highlights the “agreement between PS, PSD and CDS”: “In essence, they ensured the approval of the Novos Tempos and PS proposal, from which everything concrete and substantive was eliminated.”
