The young people who are doing an internship at the Instituto do Emprego e Formação Profissional (IEFP) and who received the associated scholarship in September will also receive the 125 euros of extraordinary support announced by the Government, reported Dinheiro Vivo.
After the ordinance was published that clarifies who are the beneficiaries of the measure included in the package to combat inflation, a source from the Ministry of Labor confirmed that IEFP interns receive support aimed at income holders of up to 2,700 euros monthly gross and not 50 euros per child in case they continue to be considered dependents.
“The interns, interns of the ATIVAR.PT internship measure, as well as the beneficiaries of the Labor Insertion Contract (CEI) and CEI+ programs, will be covered by the extraordinary support of 125 euros,” the same source explained to Dinheiro Vivo.
Unlike the payments that will be made mostly through the Treasury, those intended for young IEFP scholarship recipients will be made through Social Security.
