Pedro Nuno Santos, however, made it clear that the viability of the State Budget is not at stake regardless of the decision of the PSD and the Government, ensuring that this issue has been overcome and that the PS has already defined its voting direction.
“We will not blackmail any political party or the Government. What we hope, obviously, is that the Government and the PSD support the increase in pensions, because if they were willing to reduce the IRC by two percentage points and therefore lose 600 million euros in tax revenue, I hope they have less than 300 millions. to increase the pensions of our retirees,” he stated.
