Johnny Depp’s lawyer, Camilla Vasquez, asked Amber Heard not to give $7 million to charity for a divorce in his witness statement. Elsewhere, during cross-examination, Heard insisted that he failed to secure the full divorce settlement because “Johnny sued me,” despite admitting that he had received the full $7 million from Depp over 13 months before filing for defamation.

“Unfortunately, I was unable to meet these obligations,” Hurd said of his donation to the charity. “I made a promise, I want to be very clear. I swear with all my heart. Since I was sued, I could not keep these promises,” he said.
