ABC Legal Analyst Sunny Hostyn told ABC’s “The View” newspaper on Wednesday that she believes parents who oppose critical race theory in schools are silent about guns.
Co-host Whoopi Goldberg said: “The problem is, people have offensive weapons to deal with. It’s easier to get started than to have a pint at the bar. Children can buy assault weapons. That is the problem,” he said.
He continued: “You can look through the lens of the BS if you want and keep pretending you don’t know we have a problem with gun attacks – and that’s the last thing I’ll say about it. It’s a gun, you can’t hunt with it. You can’t hunt birds with it. It’s designed to kill and destroy corpses. That’s what it does.For that, and to be honest, you can keep the other guns to yourself.
“The other thing I thought was, as I recall, when all the parents got mad at CRT, they thought it had to be CRT and the real danger was the race debate in the classroom. It’s a real danger, it’s not a weapon.
