The country star reacted to a video where a reporter asked Martha’s Vineyard homeless shelter coordinator Lisa Belcastro about immigrants brought to the island.
“At some point they have to move from here to another place,” Belcastro said. “We don’t have services to take care of 50 immigrants, and we certainly don’t have a home.”
“We have a housing crisis on this island,” he added. “We can’t host everyone who lives and works here. We don’t have room for 50 more people,” he said.
