The Australian hard rock band Wolfmother canceled the European tour and, with it, the performance scheduled for the 27th, at the Vilar de Mouros Festival, for health reasons, the musicians announced this Friday.
The Portuguese Blind Zero will take the place of the musicians Australians at the party that takes place from August 25 to 27, in Vilar de Mouros, municipality of Caminha, district of Viana do Castelo, according to the organization.
We are heartbroken to say that due to illness in our camp we have been forced to cancel our upcoming European tour. We do not take this decision lightly and we are sorry to disappoint our fans. But our health and well-being comes first and we appreciate everyone’s understanding.”
The Portuguese band Blind Zero will present their next album, “Courage and Doom”, which will be released at the end of the year, the festival organizers reported.
Blind Zero enters the poster of the last day of the Festivalwhich also includes Iggy Pop, Bauhaus, The Legendary Tigerman and The Mirandas.
The festival lineup also features Simple Minds, Black Rebel, Motorcycle Clb, Clawfer, Lost Tara and Non Talkers on the 26th, and Placebo, Suede, Gary Numan, Batkes and The Black Teddys on the opening day.
