Win Butler, lead singer of Arcade Fire, accused of sexual misconduct by four people

Win Butler of Canadian band Arcade Fire is facing allegations of sexual misconduct after a Pitchfork investigation revealed that will have sent explicit and unsolicited messages to four people.

The three women and one person who identifies as gender fluid accuse the singer of misconduct between 2015 and 2020. At the time, the four people were between 18 and 23 years old, while Win Butler would have been between 34 and 39 years old.

The people who reported this conduct by Win Butler were fans of the band Arcade Fire at the time of the incidents. In Pitchfork they use aliases to make complaints, which have something in common: in addition to the fact that Butler is older, contacts would have been initiated after the concerts of the bandUsually through social media.

One of Win Butler’s accusers told Pitchfork that interactions that began on social media after the concerts turned into a few run-ins with the artist. One of the accusers indicates that Butler began asking for photos and videos of a sexual nature.
