Ana Navarro told ABC’s The View hosts on Monday that Republican lawmakers, voters, Fox News hosts, employees and advertisers are “spreading racism.”
Discussing the Buffalo supermarket shootings, Navarro said: “When I heard the news Saturday, I took it back to that day in 2019 when another white supremacist, domestic terrorist, racist scumbag repeatedly caught Latinos. He killed 23 people at Walmart. Exactly the same, where it should be safe, ‘
He continued, “I think it’s time to name names and point fingers. According to The New York Times, Tucker Carlson has mentioned the big shift theory, or some version of it, more than 400 times on his show since 2016. Eliza Stefanik bought ads on Facebook, and she’s not the only one. These are other Fox News presenters. These are other Republican leaders and they need to be summoned. And you see, if you’re an advertiser advertising on this station, you’re part of the problem. If you’re sitting at the board and trying to be a civilized person, I’m calling out to you, my Paul Ryan friends. You are part of the problem. If you’re a Republican donor and tweet how bad you feel about it, but donate to people like Eliza Stefanik, you’re part of the problem.”
Navarro added: “If you work for them, you are part of the problem. If you vote for them, you are part of the problem. I will tell you what the Great Displacement theory should be. We have to change all these people who are fueling hatred and profiting financially and politically from the spread of racism. We have to replace it with people who protect it.”
