On Wednesday, on FNC’s The Story, Sen. John F. Kennedy (R-LA) says the best defense against inflation, including high energy prices, is to “flood” the country with oil.
However, according to Kennedy, this policy was rejected by the Biden administration.
The Louisiana Republican MP has criticized Biden’s White House for addressing the nation’s problems, especially gas prices.
“[P]”The resident Biden’s energy policy will not allow wind, solar and wishful thinking and the strongest economy in human history,” he said. “Look Martha, I failed Mr. Spurling. It’s time to end the games. The mess we’re in here. Inflation affects my people so much that they’re coughing. Our public debt is more than our national product. Crime is rising, borders are wide open, respect for our institutions is declining. Seventy percent of people are like this. He thinks the country is going in the wrong direction. And the economists who work for President Biden know it.”
“The only way to lower the price of gasoline is to increase supply,” Kennedy continued. “The only way to increase the fuel supply is to increase the oil supply. The only way the Biden administration can increase oil supply is to shut down the oil and gas industry. She hates them. I mean, he – you know, he’s bullying them – he, the president bullied him yesterday, and they’re going to the White House and he’s not even going to meet them. So, if a person acts like they don’t care, sometimes it’s not a crime.”
