Transtejo strike with 22% adherence and Soflusa with 14%, says company

Both have the same administration and ensure river connections between the south bank and Lisbon.

In a statement sent to the Lusa agency, a source from the administration said that during the morning the the adherence of Transtejo workers was 22%.

The company indicates that the start of the transport service in the Cacilhas river connection “has been brought forward again”, with the completion of the first journey at 11:15 a.m. and that the connections to Montijo and Seixal began “at the time ”. and at the scheduled times. .

For his part, in statements to Lusa, trade unionist Carlos Costa, from the Federation of Transport and Communications Unions (Fectrans), indicated that adherence to this morning’s strike in the Transtejo service was 40%.

The interruptions in the Transtejo affect the river routes from Cacilhas (Almada) to Cais do Sodré (Lisbon) and in the opposite direction, with special incidence in the “rush hours” of the morning and afternoon.

As for the strike in Soflusa, the company aims for a membership this morning of 14%mentioning that, as on Wednesday, tours are being carried out from 6:35 a.m. with five boats serving this river connection.

The unions have already indicated that the adhesion this morning of the Soflusa workers was 50%.
