It will all have started in Fujian. After appearing in a Chinese State Council report for being a important cradle of “criminals who leave the country for fraud”This mountainous province in southeastern China, famous for its coastal cities facing Taiwan, was the scene of a conference to launch an operation to “combat gangsters and thieves leaving their area.”
All authorities in Fujian province have been ordered to take five measures against any suspected fraudsters in China: demolish their properties built with illicit money (and try to recover that money), prevent their children from attending schoolconfiscate all passports and suspend any medical insurance of those concerned, prohibit them from using public transport or stay in hotels, and prevent them from accessing grant applications.
