The Government approves a minimum increase of 52.11 euros for the civil service in 2023

The Government approved this Thursday a minimum increase of 52.11 euros for public administration workers with salaries of up to 2,700 euros, in 2023, announced the Minister of the Presidency, Mariana Vieira da Silva.

“All officials with salaries of up to 2,700 euros will have a minimum increase of 52.11 euros and, from there, the 2% salary update value is applied,” the official explained to journalists, at the end of a meeting of Council. of Ministers.

Mariana Vieira da Silva announced that the Council of Ministers “approved on this day the two decree-laws within the framework of the multi-year agreement of thanks to public administration workers”, which guarantees predictability throughout this legislature and sets the remuneration base of the public administration at 761.58 euros and updates the value of the remuneration of the public administration, corresponding to an annual salary increase equivalent to a remuneration level in each race, or 2% for all workers.
