The resignations of the last few days had a quick response on the official government website, where the photograph of Minister Pedro Nuno Santos from the composition of the current Executive immediately disappeared. This even though the Minister of Infrastructure remains in office, since the exoneration was not presented (and accepted) to the President of the Republic. At the end of the day, the government corrected the error and what the Observer found was a “technical problem.”
The video captured by El Observador at 5:00 p.m. this Friday shows that Pedro Nuno Santos is not on the list of ministers of the current government. By the way, there is no Minister of Infrastructure in the Government. And on the right side, where the chronology of changes in the cast appears, there was already one dated December 28 and another with the date of departure of Secretary of State Alexandra Reis. You can watch the opening video (if you’re on your phone, click this link):
When clicking on the modification of December 28, the image of Pedro Nuno Santos already appeared in a blurred image, as with the former rulers, and with the date of entry and exit: “2022-03-30 to 2022-12- 28”.
Hours later, on the same website, the minister’s photograph reappeared, without any official explanation being given. From what the Observer learned from the government, it was a “technical problem”.
Any reference to the departure date, which has not yet been made effective, appeared and disappeared in the image. The images of the Secretaries of State of Pedro Nuno Santos, Hugo Mendes and Marina Gonçalves, and also of the Secretary of State who was at the center of all the controversy and who was part of Fernando Medina’s team, Alexandra Kings.
In this video (if you are on your cell phone, click on this link) you can see that the composition was changed, correcting the error and placing Pedro Nuno Santos next to the image of Duarte Cordeiro, where he was initially. And now only with the date of entry into office, without the date of departure:
