Police are investigating a “death match” wrestling match held in front of the children, which turned into a bloody fight as participants attacked each other using glass lighting tubes and even grass cutters.
An event held on April 29 at the Conservatives Club in Seaham, Durham, England was a noisy event advertised as a family event and there were actually some families with children under their teens.

The show’s host, Colliery Championship Wrestling’s James Barras, told the BBC the fight between wrestlers Ronnie Thatcher and Blizzard had “escalated” to absolute bloodshed, including weapons.
Barras also insisted that he was unaware that weapons such as lawnmowers and glass fluorescent lamps would be used in the fight.

“We are working with the Durham County Council Licensing Department after local authorities received several complaints about an event at the Seaham Conservative Club on April 29. The investigation continues,” a local police spokesperson told the BBC.
However, all this publicity seems like a boon for Barras. He said he was planning more events than ever after the “death match” to receive such a notification on social media.
