U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken announced that the new strategic concept, which NATO is expected to adopt next June, will include provisions stipulating the need to “prevent any Russian aggression.”

NATO’s new strategic concept will define the alliance’s priorities in the coming years, amid the unprecedented escalation of tensions between Russia and the West, in light of Moscow’s ongoing military operation in Ukraine and the extensive NATO military support in Kiev. state.
