Doctors tried to revive the boxer, but without success. He was taken to the hospital, but succumbed to his injuries.
Turkish politician Hasan Turan said, “We lost our Alukra compatriot Musa Askan Yamak, who won the European and Asian championships, after suffering a heart attack at a young age.”

Born in Turkey, Yamak turned pro in 2017 and became a fan favorite after winning the WBF International title in 2021. He has an 8-0 record, won them all by knockout.
