Shabab al-Burj club secretary Abdel Nasser Malki has denied recent reports of the team’s intention to withdraw from the last leg of the last six-round club tournament of the Lebanese Football Championship ahead of al-Ansar next month.

Some circles have indicated that the youth of the tower will leave due to the inability to fulfill their financial obligations, especially after the decision of the International Football Association (FIFA) in the case of the ivory player Remy, dedicated to the obligation of the club to pay the amount of 42 thousand US dollars, which will push the Lebanese federation to relegation teams to the second level, keep calm.

The secretary of the club, in an interview with the electronic newspaper Al-Sport, clarified that the news that he had decided to withdraw was not true, stressing that the club had filed an appeal against the player Remy, and this fine would not lead to his removal. and downgrade to the second degree.

Malaki revealed that in fact negotiations are underway to merge the two clubs, Shabab Al-Burj and Al-Safa, to become one team and get a single license in the Lebanese Federation, which we saw earlier in Lebanon, between Olympic Beirut and Tripoli.

It is noteworthy that Al-Safa flew with Sporting to the second division.
