Al Hilal Saudi Arabia has announced that its former French striker and current Galatasaray player Bafetimbi Gomez has been awarded a gold membership with the club.
The club tweeted on its official Twitter account attached to a photo of Fahd bin Nafel, President of Al Hilal, with the French player in the middle of the club’s jersey, with the players and technical staff, signed as a gift to Gomez: “He visited the player and fell in love. Gomez is a gold member of the club.”
Gomez, accompanied by President Al Hilal, attended the team’s training session, where he was greeted by former colleagues.
Significantly, Gomez joined Al Hilal in 2018 and left last January, having made 153 appearances in all competitions with the team, scoring 116 goals and 19 assists, as well as winning the League title twice, twice – The Asian Champions League, and in addition to the Custodian of the Two Holy Places Cup, the Saudi Super Cup, as well as the awards for the best scorer and best player of the AFC Champions League 2019, as well as the top scorer of the league last season.
