Spanish star Isco has announced his departure from Real Madrid following the expiration of his contract.

And in a post on his Instagram account, the newly crowned European champion with Royal said: “After 9 years of time that I spent at the club, which allowed me to achieve all the dreams that I dreamed of when I was young, except from achieving a dream, from winning titles. More than I could have imagined, playing with the greatest people, meeting incredible people: I had such a great time.”

“I would like to thank my teammates, coaches, coaching staff, Valdebebas and Santiago Bernabeu staff and staff for the work, love and support that everyone needs and that I have never missed,” he added.

He continued, “I would also like to thank the fans who greeted me so wonderfully from day one and accompanied this team to all corners of the world!
