The Lebanese delegation of men’s (under 16) basketball flew to Doha, the capital of Qatar, on Friday to participate in the Asian Championship, which will be held from 12 to 19 June.

The delegation includes: Accounting Federation member Hisham Jaradi (Chair), Rabi Francis (Coach), George Akiki and Maroon Dib (Assistant Coach), Joe Aramuni (Physio), Mitri Habib (Physical Education), Claude Abi Gabriel (International Referee), Jean-Paul Chamy (national team captain), Jad Tabbara, Ryan Hashem, Giorgio Azzi, Sirouj Avedissian, Ray Abu Suleiman, Anthony Al-Naba, Tony Awad, Brian Saleh, Carl Zamata, Chris Hashem and Nicolai Shueiri (players).

13 countries take part in the tournament, which are divided into four groups as follows:

The first group: Australia, Bahrain, India and Qatar.

The second group: Lebanon, Iran and Indonesia.

Third group: Philippines, Japan and Kuwait.

Group D: South Korea, New Zealand and Kazakhstan.
