The Lebanese national team lost the match for third and fourth places to their New Zealand counterpart with a score of 89-62.

The Lebanese team qualified for the World Cup after reaching the semi-finals, losing to an Australian team and again losing to New Zealand after finishing fourth in the tournament.

This defeat means that the Lebanese team will be in the World Cup alongside the United States of America, ranked first in the world, Slovenia, ranked fourth in the world, and Mali, which confirms the complexity of things, but qualification is an achievement in itself, and participation can add some experience to the youth of Lebanon.

Lebanese top scorers were Jean-Paul Al-Chami and Nicolas Chouairy (12 points each), followed by Ryan Hachem (11 points).
