Czechs Barbora Krichkova and Katerina Sinyakova won the women’s doubles title at Wimbledon for the second time, beating Elise Mertens and Zhang Shuai 6-2, 6-4.

The two players have won their fifth Grand Slam title, but this is their second title this year after winning the Australian Open.

While Saturday’s men’s doubles final lasted over four hours, the women’s doubles match ended in 67 minutes.

Two Czech players took full control of the top two seeded women to deprive Belgian Mertens of her chance to win her second consecutive All England title. The two Czechs crushed their opponents early, before the score was 3-0 in the first set and then ended half an hour later.

Krıcıkova and Siniakova lost their serves in a 3-3 draw in the second set, giving Mertens and Zhang a chance to bounce back before the Czechs won three games in a row and the match ended.
