The Lebanese Automobile and Touring Club presented cups and prizes to its champions who won titles at the club’s multi-sport indoor sports course with more than 150 male and female players.
The coronation ceremony took place at the club’s headquarters in the presence of a large audience represented by the president of the club, lawyer Eli Assaf, two vice-presidents Serge Zvain (vice-president of the Tennis Federation), Asaad Mirza, general secretary. Camille Edde and a number of Board members Naseeb Haddad delivered a speech describing the club’s intense sports activities with the support of the Chairman and Board members, including sports courses. He noted that 350 male and female players (a record number) in different age groups will take part in the annual open tennis tournament of the club.
The ceremony included sports performances and an exhibition tennis match between players Roy Tabet and Ralph Thome.
