The Portuguese international soccer player Renato Sanches will head to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) or AC Milan, the president of Lille assumed this Wednesday, admitting that the departure of the French club is certain.
Will Renato go? Yes. What club? I don’t know… He has two possibilities, two very good clubs, like PSG and Milan. If he’s still with us, it’s because we haven’t reached an agreement with any of the clubs yet,” clarifies Lille president Olivier Letang.
The coach revealed that “there are talks” with both clubs, however, he refused to “reveal its nature.”
Renato Sanches, 24, who trained at Benfica before heading to Bayern Munich, arrived at Lille in 2019 from Swansea, to which he was loaned by the Bavarians, having a contract with the northern French club until 2023
The arrival at PSG of coach Christophe Galtier, who trained Renato at Lille, could weigh in the way of the 2016 European champion, coveted by FC Barcelona last season, before injuring a meniscus.
PSG also has Luís Campos as sporting director, another factor that could weigh on its continuity in French football.
AC Milan, current champion of Italy and in which the Portuguese international Rafael Leão also plays, is a club that has followed the path of the Portuguese midfielder, having already revealed, on more than one occasion, willingness to trust your services.
