Zamalek beat Smouha 2-0 at the end of the 26th round of the Egyptian Premier League to cement their league lead with 60 points, 4 points ahead of Piramis who beat the Ismaili opponent with a clean four in that round . Saeed crossed in the 5th minute from Ramadan Sobha’s second and third goals in the 35th and 40th minutes, while Mahmoud Saber scored the fourth goal in the 82nd minute from Waleed Al-Karthi’s pass.

Zamalek’s goals were scored by Ahmed Syed Zizou and Seif El-Din Al-Jaziri in the 34th and 47th minutes of the meeting.

Al Ahli also won that round over El Gouna with two clean sheets scored by Rami Rabia in the 73rd minute, and three minutes later Ali Maaloul scored a second goal from a penalty kick to finish third with 51 goals.
