The Saudi Arabian Gulf Club has announced the signing of Gabonese midfielder Andre Boko to support the team from Altai Izmir, Turkey for one season.

Boko, 29, became the fourth foreign professional to join Gulf’s newly promoted ranks in Mohammed bin Salman’s Professional League after signing Brazilian goalkeeper Douglas Frederick, Algerian Jamal Belamri, defender, and Colombian Brian Riascos, defender.

Boko started his football career with Gabonese club Betam in 2008 before moving to French stadiums through Bordeaux in 2011 after which he moved between three Turkish clubs namely Kardemir Karabukspor, Goztepe and , finally, Altai Izmir, with whom he played 30 games, scored two goals and scored a goal.

Boko has also featured in 73 matches with his country since 2010 and scored 3 goals knowing he was crowned with the Olympic team in the African Cup of Nations 2011 and also won the Coupe de France with Bordeaux in the 2012-2013 season.
