Al Hikma are looking to strengthen their ranks during this summer transfer market before entering the 2022-23 Lebanese Football Championship after managing to maintain their spotlight league presence last season.

The ruling administration has managed to secure several important deals, such as a contract with former race captain Serge Saeed, Al Ahly brotherhood star Hatem Eid, who plays at left-back, the heart of the Al Ansar defense and its leader Moataz Billah al-Junaidi, the outstanding flank of Abu Bakr al-Mal and a number of other players.

In an interview with the electronic newspaper “Sport”, the player Hatem Eid expressed his great happiness to join the ranks of Al-Akhdar, emphasizing his determination to show his best qualities to the team.

Eid confirmed that the strong interest in him from Al Hikma’s management prompted him to sign with the club, adding: “Al Hikma has a long-term project for the future and this is an incentive to participate in it. .”

Eid revealed that captain Paul Rostom had contacted him and urged him to make the move, as well as coach Emil Rostom, with whom he won the Lebanese League title with Al-Safa.

Eid, in addition to his experience as a player, has experience in the world of training, explaining: “7-8 years ago I started my career studying at a private academy in the city of Aley, and I had experience with one of the teams of the fourth degree, and also Hariri University and some clubs with NGOs. I am working to align my profession as a player and my profession as a coach, and everyone knows that the ambition of any player after my career is to become a coach.”

Regarding the atmosphere at Al Hikma Club, Eid said: “The atmosphere is very positive, the president of the club and the technical staff are closely followed. Everyone is working very hard before the start of the season and of course there are goals that we will strive to achieve in season, and we do not hide that the ambitions of the team will be great after the important deals made by the club.

Eid concluded: “We hope that the glory will return to the Al Hikma Club and that we will see Al Hikma fans actively support the team, as they do in basketball.
