On Saturday, Joe Rogan took a hard hit to Vice President Kamala Harris for advocating the release of Britney Greener, despite jailing people for using marijuana while California attorney general.
Rogan commented on his debut podcast last Saturday with guest Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers.
During the show, Rogan targeted Harris, who made statements urging Russia to release a WNBA player arrested, convicted and sentenced to 9.5 years in possession of marijuana products.
“This is why the hypocrisy about the Britney Griner situation is so extreme in this country,” said Rogan when the topic was brought up. “Where Kamala Harris talks about how awful Brittney Griner was in jail.”
“Well, you put people in jail. You did. Thousands are in jail for marijuana. Yeah, it’s crazy,” said Rogan.
Rogan also criticized Joe Biden, who, along with Harris, promised to do something about long prison sentences for weed.
“Why didn’t you justify them when they promised to put people in jail for marijuana?” ‘ asked Rogan. “They said they would legalize marijuana at the federal level.”
“They said they would clear the inmates in prison for drug-related non-violent crimes. They said so. None of that happened,” he continued.
Rogan also angered the left when he urged the audience to “vote for the Republicans” due to the massive stagnation and hypocrisy of Democrats’ coronavirus policies over the past two years.
“I hope there are lessons to be learned from this,” said Rogan. “Because there is something new. Nothing like this has ever happened to us. No one alive today has experienced a real pandemic. And hopefully now that it’s all over, people will understand that serious mistakes were made and they won’t be repeated. That’s the best thing you can get out of.”
That’s when he encouraged people to vote Republican, specifically referring to Florida’s success under the policies of GOP Governor Ron DeSantis.
