Alexandria’s Al Ittihad player Ahmed Adel “Messi” has said in his statements that competition in the Egyptian national team will not be easy and that he wants to train alongside Liverpool star Mohamed Salah.

And Egypt coach Roy Vitoria has announced the Egyptian squad, which includes Ahmed Adel Messi, in preparation for the camp of the pharaohs, which starts on September 13.

Adele said: “The competition in the Egyptian national team is not easy and all the players will do their best and in the end everything is in the interests of the Egyptian team and the interests of the coach.”

He continued, “If I am excluded from the final list of the Egyptian team, it will not affect me, and I will do my best in the camp of the team to get into the final list, even if I am excluded for being better.”

He added: “I’m honored to be joining the Egyptian national team and of course I’m excited to train with Mohamed Salah as it’s a great name and he always sets an example for us.”

And he added: “Fan clubs create motivation for you, and you want to win trophies and always win thanks to the fans.”

He concluded his statement by saying, “Hossam Hassan is the reason I joined the Alexandria Federation and on a personal level, I love and respect him very much.”
