Jerry Jones admitted not wearing a seat belt when the car crashed in May.

A video has emerged showing Cowboys owner Jerry Jones admitting to police that he wasn’t wearing a seat belt in a car accident he was involved in last May.

In video obtained by TMZ, 80-year-old Jones can be heard agreeing with an officer who said he was driving with a seat belt when his long-time NFL owner’s 2013 Lexus collided with a Hyundai while traveling at 45 mph.

“You have [the seatbelt] It’s buckled in the back, but you’re not wearing it,” he told Officer Jones.

“Correct,” Jones replied. “This is true.”

Jones suffered injuries in the crash, which is described as blows to his head, chest and knees. Describing the events to the police, Jones said that after the driver was thrown in front of him, he hit the other vehicle with a volley.

“She’s the only-[turned]Jones said, “I’ve just been U-ed in front of me. I volleyed him. I’m so glad he didn’t get hurt.”

Jones was cleared of all charges in the accident.
