Barbora Spotakova, double Olympic javelin champion, withdraws from competition

Czech javelin thrower Barbora Spotakova, double Olympic champion and holder of an impressive track record in her specialty, announced this Friday that she is retiring from competition at the age of 41.

In a note published by the Athletics Federation of the Czech Republic, it was learned that the presence in the final of the Diamond League, on Thursday in Zurich, where it was on Thursday, was even the last appearance in the high wheel of athletics.
