Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has ridiculed Chelsea owner Todd Pulley’s offer to host a north-south match in the English Premier League.

And according to the British Daily Mail, Boly raised his eyebrows when he proposed a match that would bring together Premier League stars, as they do in the NBA, to raise money in English football.

“Why is there no matchup between league stars here? You can play north-south in the Premier League and fund everything football needs,” Boelli said.

However, Klopp gave the idea brief attention when asked about it at his press conference, where he said with a smile: “He didn’t wait long! Well, when he finds an appointment, he can call me.”

He added: “He forgot that in major sports in America, these players have 4 months of breaks and they are very happy because they can practice a little during these breaks … It’s different here.”

He concluded: “I’m not sure if people want to see this, imagine the Manchester United, Liverpool and Everton players all on the same team!”
