Arab League Secretary General Spokesperson Jamal Rushdie said “Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit met with Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albariz as part of his visit to Madrid.” He explained that “the meeting discussed a number of issues of mutual interest and ways to develop relations between the League of Arab States and Spain in the political, economic and cultural fields in the next stage, especially in light of the outstanding relations between the two parties.”
