Serbian coach Goran Tović, manager of Emirati side Ajman, believes his team does not deserve to be beaten by Sharjah compared to the level he has shown and the opportunities he has created in two halves.
Ajman was defeated three goals to two against Sharjah in the third round of the UAE ADNOC Professional League.
Goran criticized the referee, stressing that the referee made two mistakes: the first, when Shaheen Abdel Rahman defender interfered with Ajman striker Walid Azzaro in a single situation, and that the player deserved a red card, not a yellow one.
He added that the second mistake came after Ajman goalkeeper Ali Al Hosani saved a penalty.
At the end of his speech, the Ajman coach expressed his pride in his team’s performance despite the defeat, promising to work in the future and focus on correcting mistakes and adjusting the team’s results.
