Former German veteran Dietmar Hamann believes Senegalese star Sadio Mane has yet to adapt to Bayern Munich since joining the Allianz Arena from Liverpool.
Mane got off to a strong start with the Bundesliga giant, scoring three goals in his first three matches, but he lost his scoring record in five consecutive matches.
Bayern manager Julian Nagelsmann admitted that Mane needed some time to adjust to his new teammates after being substituted in the 70th minute of their 2-0 away win against Barcelona.
But Hamann thinks Mane is unhappy at the Allianz Arena and he has yet to play in his best position, telling the Daily Mail: “He is fickle, I saw him at Liverpool where he played in the center of attack. , and he continues this in Bayern Munich, but this is not his center.
He explained, “Manet is at his best when he comes from both sides.”
He continued: “Now nobody talks about Mane, he seems isolated, so Bayern should support the Senegalese to get out of his depression.”
