Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte spoke after the team’s 6-2 victory over Leicester City in the eighth round of the English Premier League.

Conte told the BBC: “The most important thing is to score three points after a loss. It wasn’t easy for us. We played well but conceded a penalty and lost 1-0.”

He added: “The first half was difficult but the substitutions were really important and Son played well and scored three goals, it’s weird.”

He continued: “We have to keep improving and understand why we lost confidence on the ball in the first half. We need to add.”

He continued, “Alternating is good for the team, if you give energy and play the way Son plays, everyone will be happy.”

Regarding being able to compete at the top, he said: “The Premier League is very difficult, in my opinion, I think we’ve just started fighting for something important, we’ve just started.”
