Egypt coach Roy Vitoria, in a statement to On Time Sports, said he analyzed his team’s performance during a friendly match against Niger, in which the Pharaohs won 3-0.

Vitoria reported that his team’s defensive performance was outstanding, the opposition did not pose a threat, and the Egyptian team enjoyed offensive activity.

Egypt will face their counterpart Liberia in the second friendly during the international break.

Vitoria noted that it will be up to him to decide whether to exclude Liverpool star Mohamed Salah and Nantes player Mustafa Mohamed from the friendly match against Liberia, because they will participate in many matches in the coming period.

He added: “Salah and Mustafa will play 11 matches until next November, which is a lot of meetings. As for Ahmed Abul Fotouh, we preferred that he rest.”

He concluded by saying, “We are gearing up for the match against Liberia in full force with the return of the Zamalek duo of Ahmed Syed Zizou and Mahmoud Hamdi Al-Wansh. Our goal is to win.”
