Next Saturday, October 1st, the 2023 AFC U-17 Asian Championship qualifiers kick off and will be played in a pool system across 10 different countries.

The 43 participating teams were divided into 10 groups, of which 5 groups consist of four teams, 4 groups consist of five teams, and one group has three teams, and 16 of them advance to the final.

The top teams in each group qualify, as well as the top six teams that finish second in ten groups.

The first group matches will be held in Jordan, which includes the reigning champions of Japan, Turkmenistan, the Philippines, Jordan and Syria.

As for the second group, it will be held in Indonesia and includes Palestine, Malaysia, the Emirates, Guam and the host team of Indonesia.

The third group includes Oman, Iraq, Qatar, Lebanon and Bahrain, and its matches will be held at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Muscat, where Qatar will meet Iraq in the first round, and Bahrain will meet Lebanon.

As for the fourth group, the matches of which will be held in Al-Khobar, then it includes Kuwait, Maldives, host Saudi Arabia, Myanmar and India.

Group E, which matches will be held in Dhaka, includes Yemen, Bhutan, host Indonesia and Singapore.

Vietnam will host Group F, which includes Thailand, Nepal, Vietnam and Chinese Taipei.

Australia will host Group G, which includes Australia, the Northern Mariana Islands, China and Cambodia.

As for the eighth group, its matches will be held in Tajikistan and include three teams after the withdrawal of East Timor, namely Tajikistan and Mongolia.

Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, will host Group 9 matches, which include Iran, Laos, Hong Kong and Kyrgyzstan.

Group X matches will be held in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, and include South Korea, Sri Lanka, Brunei and Uzbekistan.
