The MotoGP World Championship will be organized for the first time in India, in 2023, the promoter, Dorna, announced this Friday, which awaits the interest of the public in the second most populous country in the world.
The competition will take place at the Buddh International Circuit, near New Delhi, which has already hosted three times Formula 1 races, between 2011 and 2013.
“We have many enthusiasts in India and we are committed to bringing this sport to India, which is also a key market for the motorcycle industry,” Dorna manager Carmelo Ezpeleta said on the sidelines of the Thai Grand Prix that took place on Last Sunday.

Another novelty for next year is the celebration of two races: a speed test, which will take place on Saturdays, and the race scoring for the Grand Prix that will be organized on Sundays.
