Ethiopian Yalmisref Yehualao won the London Women’s Marathon by defeating defending champion Joycelyn Jepkosigye in the final round.

Yehualu crossed the finish line of the 42.195 km race in two hours, 17 minutes and 26 seconds.

Jepkoske was second by almost 40 seconds and Alimu Megerto of Ethiopia was third.
