Former Italian Al Hilal professional Sebastian Giovinco expressed his joy at being able to visit his club again and meet his colleagues again.

The Italian star was in Riyadh to watch Al Hilal’s match against Al Taawon and say goodbye to Al Zaim’s fans following the announcement of his retirement.


Giovinco recently announced his retirement from football following his retirement from Italian club Sampdoria in July 2022.
Giovinco joined Al Hilal for the 2018–2019 season from Toronto, Canada before leaving for the 2021–22 season.

Giovinco said in a video clip posted to his club’s accounts: “Hi Al Hilal fans, I’m happy to be here and it’s nice to meet my former colleagues and management, I’m happy here,” before recounting his best moment. wearing an Al Hilal jersey, saying “Winning the AFC Champions League in 2019 was the best moment.” For me, when you win a treble with a team, I think it’s something special.”

Giovinco added: “There are so many moments that I will never forget. These are incredible moments. It was an honor to play for the biggest club in Asia and I had great moments and great people treated me like I was their son. or a brother, so I’ll never forget it.”
