Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport has revealed Inter Milan’s plan to reduce Barcelona’s risk in the third round of the Champions League group stage.
Barcelona will play Inter Milan at the Guzeppe Meazza stadium under the leadership of the Slovenian referee Slavko Vincic.
And the journalist reported that Inter are working to implement the plan under coach Simone Inzaghi, whose first goal is to prevent Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski from reaching the goal in the first place.
Inzaghi wants to isolate Lewandowski away from the penalty area because Barcelona’s strength is in attack and if they manage to implement their plan, they can probably win.
Inzaghi also believes stopping Osman Dembele and Rafinha at Barcelona is another solution to calm Inter Milan’s attacks, but the Pole is a dangerous weapon after scoring 12 goals in 9 games this season.
Finally, Busquets is also one of the players who should focus on him because he is one of the keys to playing for Barcelona and the only one left in Pep Guardiola’s team despite his age.
