The first TikTok video of Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, released Thursday, shows campaign manager Abrams giving her two middle fingers while dancing to the viral song Lizzo.
Lauren Groh-Vargo, who was campaign manager for Abrams’ failed bid in 2018 and is now back in the same role, said of Lizzo, “Because I give it a damn. I need about two shots in my cup.

Abrams, a former state representative and voting rights activist, officially won the undisputed primary governor Tuesday and is now facing a rematch with Gov. Brian Kemp (right) nearly beat Abrams in 2018.
Kemp entered the race with Abrams on Tuesday, defeating former Senator David Perdue, to win a fierce main battle by nearly 50 points.
Despite Abrams launching a new TikTok account, Kemp’s campaign told Breitbart News that it has no plans to create an in-app account for the governor.
The video shared by Abrams also features members who appear to be collaborators and supporters, although only Groh-Vargo shows the middle finger.
She chose a popular song in her campaign and danced between the top two song clips on TikTok, which is used in nearly three million videos on the app.
While many TikTok users who dance to the song use the middle finger maneuver, many prefer not to. A user with over five million followers, Kelly Erdmann, posted her own version of the dance, but removed the bird flip and also sneezed a curse.
Kemp’s campaign spokesman, Tate Mitchell, shared a screenshot of Groh-Wargo, citing Abrams’ controversial comment last weekend that Georgia is “the country’s worst state to live in”.
“Less than a week later, Abrams said Georgia was the ‘worst place,’ and the campaign manager posted a video that confused the masses. Home guys!

In response to the criticism, Groh-Wargo wrote on social media: “I’m the first to admit it – @lizzo did better.”
