The entities involved in the relief -Firefighters and INEM- presented “points for improvement” to the provisional bike lane project for Almirante Reis that Carlos Moedas announced in March. To the Observer, the municipality affirms that “there is no negative opinion” from the entities called to comment on the transitory solution of the bike lane, but acknowledges that there are “points for improvement” presented by the firefighters and the INEM, the authorities involved in helping the population.
From what the Observer found, these improvement points will be essentially related to the directions of circulation, with the municipality talking about “detail” issues. The final project was announced for the first time this Friday, on the official website of the municipality and it can be seen that the changes will also extend to parallel and perpendicular streets, with greatest impact in the Mercado de Arroios area.
