Gaylin J. Morris, 26, was arrested for the first time after police arrived at the bar and her boyfriend, 26, Andre Smith, was trapped under her car.

First reported by WISH-TV:

Online prison records show Gaylin J. Morris, 26, of Indianapolis, was charged with pre-homicide for an incident that occurred Friday morning at Tilly’s bar.

The police arrived at the bar near 82nd Street at around 12:30. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said they found a man slightly stuck under a black Chevrolet Impala.

The man died at the scene. Marion County coroner identified him as 26-year-old Andre Smith.

After his arrest, the details of the incident were learned. Police said Morris used an Apple AirTag tracking device to track Smith’s movements around the city. He then followed the audience to a bar, where Smith was accompanied by another woman. Police said Morris followed Smith to the parking lot after an argument, after which he allegedly hit him with his car, and his car hit him a total of three times.

Most cases of men and women being harassed using AirTags are piling up across the country. As Breitbart News previously reported:

Vice has requested AirTags records from dozens of police departments in the United States over the past eight months. Of the 150 police reports that mentioned AirTag, 50 were among women who called police when they received notification that the nearest AirTag was tracking them.

In these 50 cases, 25 women met someone they suspected had AirTag installed in order to track them for the rest of their lives. Women reported that their current and former romantic partners used AirTags to harass and abuse them.

In one case, a woman called the police because a man who had been abusing her for a long time stepped up her behavior and put an AirTag in her vehicle. The woman said the man had threatened her with “the hell of her life” before. Most cases involve angry exes, including a woman calling to let her know that her ex slashed her tires and left an AirTag in her car.

Breitbart News will continue to report on the use of Apple AirTags to commit crimes.
