Russian scientists have created completely domestic solar panels, which can be transparent or colored, that can replace the roofs, windows or facades of buildings.
The information office of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia indicates that as a result of cooperation of university scientists, educational institutions, national research institutions and scientific institutions of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Solar cells were invented, which not only produce electrical energy. . however, it can be used as elements for external protection from weather conditions such as roofs and windows, and building facades.
The office states that these batteries are made from new organic compounds, which can be obtained in three stages, to which the institutions of the Russian Academy of Sciences contribute according to their expertise.
