The racist rhetoric of “Uncle Clarence” became a hot topic on Twitter today as leftists on the platform attacked the US Supreme Court after it was overthrown. Rowe vs. Wadealong with, among others, death threats against Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.
In a landmark 5-4 decision on Friday, the Supreme Court overturned Rowe vs. Wade A resolution legalizing abortion in the United States in 1973.
Supreme Court Justices Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett agreed with Samuel Alito in the majority opinion, while Liberal Judges Stephen Breuer, Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan disagreed.
Almost immediately, Left took to Twitter to express his feelings, often turning to threats of violence. In tweets that remain on the platform today, many Twitter users have made death threats against Clarence Thomas, who is seen by many as the most conservative justice of the Supreme Court.

In the tweet, which was deleted by Twitter, the user said, “I will kill Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.”

Another user said, “Great moment at the bar with my communist friends last night, one of them said he wanted to kill Clarence Thomas with a bow and arrow and it all went like a year.”
Other users have been the subject of racist ridicule rather than violent threats, which is against Twitter’s policies, but much of the vandalism is still posted on the platform.
Many Twitter users described Thomas as “homemade worthless”.
Clarence Thomas was a native Negro.

Earlier in the day, Twitter allowed the term “Uncle Clarence” to trend on the platform, citing the racist rhetoric of “Uncle Tom”.
