The fires continue to put Europe on alert and, in France, meteorologists speak of a “heat apocalypse”.

The country has been one of the most harassed today, with more than 33 thousand people leaving their homes in recent days, due to the fires in the west of the country and in Bordeaux, writes The Guardian.

Despite the drop in temperatures earlier this week, the heat moves to the north of the continent and the United Kingdom expects to reach record temperature values.

In Portugal, fires continue to plague the country and deserve the attention of the authorities.
