The British Parliament shut down its own TikTok account just days after its launch amid concerns that the platform was leaking data to China.
After receiving warnings from several MPs about the social media platform’s security concerns linked to China, the UK Parliament has decided to shut down the short-lived TikTok account.
The social media account, which a spokesperson described as an attempt to reach a younger audience, was launched in test mode last week.
